Henne says QB position simply comes with criticism
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - Chad Henne Dolphins quart explained how the hearing of a few supporters chanting of the Miami Dolphins for Kyle Orton to a practice earlier this week seemed uncomfortable. A few minutes later, coach Tony Sparano gave a mild response on the team level of interest in Brett Favre has quickly created a buzz anyway.
org/schemas/03/2005/apnm "> Ah, the circus quart annual Miami seems to warm up nicely.Henne said Thursday he understands criticism comes with the territory of being fourth, which seems especially true in Miami, since each of the 15 entries that followed Dan Marino have tried and failed to complete the shadow, he continues to throw on the franchise. In an open practice Monday night, a small number of fans broke into a "We want Orton!" chant, referencing the team's apparent interest in acquiring the Denver quarterback.
"Absolutely you hear it," Henne said Thursday. "But you take it in, take it out. ... The biggest thing is if you're a Miami Dolphin fan hopefully you're cheering for the Miami Dolphins and players out there rather than somebody that's not."
Sparano jumped to Henne's defense Wednesday, calling the chants "sick" in an unusually sharp-tongued display from a coach who tends to be mild-mannered in interview sessions. On Thursday, he lauded Henne again, saying he's the team's No. 1 quarterback despite Miami's recent signing of Matt Moore , most recently of Carolina.
Then Sparano was asked if the team would rule out any possibility of adding Favre, and the coach seemed to know even the mere mention of the 41-year-old oft-retired quarterback would make news. Almost grudgingly, he answered anyway.
"I can't rule anything out. OK? So, I mean, we don't rule anything out," Sparano said. "I don't know how you want me to answer that. That'll be all over the news now too, but I'm giving you the only answer I can give you.

They said the criticism was a motivation for their showing against the Galaxy. "(The criticism) definitely motivates you," defender Eric Brunner said. "You don't like giving up goals and giving up 2-0 leads." Before the game, the question was whether
Kara Braxton is a very talent player but her career has been marred at times with a variety of issues related to her attitude and motivation. Fans in Detroit would be quick to point out these issues and it seems like they've surfaced in the Phoenix
Perhaps this will be the motivation that the owners and the players need to end this lockout. A longer break means more time for Big Blake to work on his skills and improve his game. That can't be good news for anyone who has to face this guy.
Two Factor Theory - Herzberg's Motivation Theory
Pro theory is supported by considerable empirical data and is included in the search for others who are in favor of the initial hypothesis. Research methodology is criticized Con. Does not take into account the individual personalities in terms of motivation or hygiene factors. Does not give a value for each motivational motivator. Overview
The theory of two factors had a considerable amount of practical and theoretical influences. In fact, from a practical point of view, the influence of motivation theory of Herzberg can be seen at every level of organization and within each department. From the theoretical point of view, motivation theory of Herzberg can be seen as having similarities with the theory of Maslow's Need except that the theory of Herzberg, the needs are not placed in a gradual continuum, they are rather divided into two independent factors. In fact, Herzberg would argue that the opposite of satisfaction is not dissatisfaction since different stimuli are involved in generating each of those emotional states, reinforcing the fact that they are not on the same continuum. As a result, these states must be measured on different scales.
DiscussionHerzberg's motivation theory emerged from a collection of data gathered by the interview of 203 accountants and engineers within the Pittsburgh area. The interview process consisted of asking the respondents to describe a work situation where they felt very happy as well as very unhappy. These descriptions were to include as many details as possible, including their feelings, the interpretation of the situation as well as the events that are suggestive of a change.
The analysis of the responses confirmed the proposed hypothesis, where some factors where contributors to job satisfaction, while others were not. In addition, some factors were noted to be a source of dissatisfaction when absent. These were categorized as "Motivators" and "Hygiene" factors, the latter also being referred to as Maintenance Factors.
Motivators: In fact, they motivate an individual. They are rooted in the work itself.
